15 Days/ 14 Nights PANAMA
Day 1: Arrive in Panama
A representative of Viajes Modernos Lufthansa City Center will meet you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel Country Inn Amador or similar in Panama City.
Day 2: Canal Transit
At 7:30 a.m a representative of our company will pick you up at the Hotel to bring you to Amador to start a transit thought the canal. This unique experience, departures every Friday and Saturday at 08:30 in the morning from la Playita de Amador. It goes from Amador to Gamboa, and you will go during the transit under Las Americas Brigde, and thought the Miraflores Locks and Centenary Bridge, finishing in Gamboa.
Includes: Bilingual Guide, buffet lunch, and beverages.
In the afternoon transfer back to Panama City Hotel.
Day 3: Full day City Tour
After breakfast a representative of our company will pick you up to begging a City Tour. Visit Panama Viejo, the first city founded in the isthmus by Spanish conquerors at the beginning of colonization. The remaining ruins are the vestiges left by Pirate Henry Morgan, who sacked the town in 1671. The second colonial city of Panama, Casco Viejo, was built in 1673. The architecture of this area is exquisite including French and Spanish styles; you will walk around the city, visit the Canal Museum and enjoy lunch included at a local Restaurant. The last stop will be at the Miraflores Locks to witness the workings of the Panama Canal, you will receive a VIP treatment, visit the museum, and end up the day driving to the Canal Administration building and Cerro Ancon.

In the afternoon transfer back to Panama City Hotel.
Day 4: Chagres National Park – EMBERA Indian Village

At 8:00 a.m a representative of our company will meet you at the hotel to begin to tour to the Embera Community. Paradise found in its purest form. This adventure takes you to the indigenous community and begins with a ride in a "piragua" (a native boat) following the route commonly used by the Indians for their daily transport along the Chagres River. Then hike through the forest with a local indigenous guide, an expert who will explain the botanical aspects of the trail and the culture of this authentic village. You will witness their artisans and enjoy the knowledge of botanical plants. Their cultural dances and music will take you back centuries. If you would like you can also paint your body as they do with the fruit known as Jagua.
We can also observe the grand variety of birds found in these areas. Walk in the jungle, explore waterfalls and learn from a magical culture, all this on just one day. Arrival back to the hotel at estimated at 4.00 PM

In the afternoon transfer back to Hotel Radisson Summit (Jungle Area).
Day 5: Portobello Tour by Train

At 6:30 a.m you will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel by a Naturalist Guide to bring you to the Corozal Train Station. The railway follows a similar route as the original train built to transport passengers coming from the east coast of the United States across the Isthmus to continue their journey by boat to California. The route was diverted when Gatun Lake was formed to give way to the Panama Canal. The train will take you along the magnificent waterway, flanked by the exuberant rainforests of Soberania National Park. You will go across the Isthmus of Panama to the Caribbean province of Colon.
Once in Colon you be pick up at the Train Station, and drive to the historic town of Portobelo. Famous for its trade fairs during the 17th century, Portobelo is another World Heritage Site. During colonial times it was one of the most important strongholds of the Spanish Main in the Americas. You will visit the Church of San Felipe and the Fort. At lunch time you will go to a local restaurant in Portobelo, Los Cañones Restaurant (waterfront), and enjoy a typical Caribbean dish by the ocean.
You will return to Panama City around 03:00 p.m in the afternoon and will be transferred to Radisson Summit Hotel.

Day 6: Gatún Lake – Isla Mono

Early in the morning you are picked up at the lobby of your hotel by a Naturalist Guide for a 45 minute drive to the town of Gamboa, where the Chagres River meets the Panama Canal. Here you board an expedition boat and depart on an adventure that will include a voyage across Gatun Lake in the Panama Canal passing by gigantic cargo ships transiting the waterway, making contrast with the natural surroundings. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to spot Green Iguana and Three-toed Sloth resting on tree branches, Crocodile, Osprey in the hunt for Peacock Bass, Snail Kite and Keel-billed Toucan among other wildlife. Gatun Lake was formed to give way to the Panama Canal in 1914. With a surface of 423 square-kilometers, at the time of its creation was the largest man-made lake in the world. The flow of all the rivers within the Panama Canal Watershed is contained in Gatun Lake to provide water for the operation of the lock system. More than 52 million gallons of fresh water are used for every ship that transits through the Panama Canal from one ocean to another. Your expedition boat will allow for close approximations to rainforest covered islands (former hill tops) in Gatun Lake to search for White-faced Capuchin, Mantled Howler Monkey, Central American spider monkey, and Geoffrey’s Tamarin.

Transfer back to Radisson Summit Hotel.
Day 7: El Valle – Hot Springs

A.M: pick up at the hotel and transfer to el Valle to begging tour. El Valle is the crater of a dormant volcano, probably the largest in Central America. With a cool and pleasant climate, this picturesque valley rises over 600 mts. Above sea level. This small town has a great variety of attractions such as mountain called the “India Dormida”. The tour continues with a visit to the ancient petroglyphs of the El Chorro Macho waterfall and a trip to the Nispero Garden, and the hot springs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer to Hotel los Madarinos or similar in el Valle.

Day 8: Resort all Inclusive – Pacific Ocean

Around noon a representative of our company will pick you up, to transfer you to an All Inclusive Hotel in the Pacific. You will be able to enjoy a free day at the beach, and surroundings.

Day 11: Boquete – Chiriqui
Pick up at the hotel in the Pacific Ocean, to bring you to the National Airport, to get a flight to Chiriqui. At the David airport, you will be pick up by a representative of the company , who will transfer you to Boquete.
Lodging in Boquete, Hotel Valle del Rio or similar.
Day 12: Boquete – Isla Gamez

From Boquete, we will drive to Pedregal, a small fishing village just a few minutes outside of David. From there, we’ll pass through the mangrove forested islands of Laguna de Chiriqui as we make our way toward Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park, a 14,740 hectare marine park that encompasses many uninhabited islands and serves as a refuge for howler monkeys, leatherback and hawksbill turtles, tiger herons, and scores of exotic fish. We will go to a few of our favorite snorkeling spots and pass the day exploring, swimming, relaxing in a hammock and playing on the white sand eaches of Island Bolaños or Isla Gamez.
Transfer to Hotel Valle del Rio or similar.

Day 13: Boquete – Coffe Tour
This tour starts in the morning, where the owner of the farm will drive you around to see the fields, of it's a totally organic coffee, during the tour he will explains the entire process of coffee and you will be able to interact, and try and taste the product.
The seven acre coffee farm, is located in the highlands of Boquete, Panama, a coffee growing region sometimes referred to as the Napa Valley of coffee. It´s rich volcanic soil and ideal climate have recently produced some of the highest rated coffees in the world. This appropriately labeled coffee has set out to grow the healthiest, most natural, and most flavorful coffee on this planet. It received the organic certification in 2004 and began the process of reclaiming the neglected farm. It has farmed in alliance with the forces of the moon. During the waxing moon, when the force pulls upwards, it attends to the earth by selectively weeding and supplying the soil with organic nutrients. During the waning moon, when the earth inhales, the trees are nurture with careful pruning to foment growth during the next cycle of the increasing moon. To return to this ancient farming practice produces the healthiest trees and the highest quality coffee under the moon.
Transfer back to the Hotel Valle del Rio or similar.
Day 14: Panama City
In the morning you will be transfer from Boquete Hotel, to the David Domestic Airport. Flight to Panama City where you will be picked up by a representative of our Company and bring to the Country Inn Amador or similar.
Day 15: End of the trip
At the arrange time, you will be pick up, to bring you to the International Airport to get the flight back.
