Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro, one of Panama´s province that is located in the Caribbean ocean and Isla Colon is its capital.  This island, is the main from a group of islands. Your visit is not completed until you have experimented besides from Colon island, Bastimentos island, famous for its incredible sandy white beaches like Red Frog Beach and Lizard or the first beach,  it´s delicious restaurants with sea food with the catch of the day or even you can see the lobsters under the water in special cages. Carenero, Zapatilla and Solarte islands will make your trip a unique experience.

We can mention also the two National Parks that are Bastimentos Island Marine National Park and “La Amistad” International Park. In the Northeast of the Isla Colon town, the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute operates an investigation station. Diving, snorkeling, surfing, canopy, kayaking, trekking, swimming, are some of the activities you can do in Bocas Del Toro. You can also observe different kind of marine species like dolphins, starfish, sea urchin and others. 

At night, Isla Colon offers you restaurants from all over the world and off course they all offer fresh sea food from the catch of the day! You also have different bars to spend your nights and if you like to dance you can visit the legendary “barco hundido” (sink boat) and you can stay until very late at night or early morning.
